After spending most of our time inland with the exception of a couple of days in Tangier and Rabat we headed on a 3 hour bus ride to Essaouira from Marrakesh. Essaouira is a little surfer/hippie beach town in the south of Morocco that is known for its sardines, Argan trees and having a very relaxed "vibe."

We saw a lot of this in the middle part of our ride. Pretty exciting stuff!
| Once we got within an hour or so of the coast we started to see some agriculture pop up. |
These are Olive trees I think...
More farms off in the distance.
We saw some much larger, likely corporate farms too.
I didn't manage to get any good photos of the numerous orange farms. They had much larger fences and were more well protected, not conducive to good photos.

Did I not mention that the road to Essaouira is known for it's Goat Trees™? Yes, yes it is. This is only one of the 6 or 8 trees that we passed near Mejji. You can google "goat tree Essaouira" and find this. You're welcome.

The Argan tree preserve just outside of town.
